Chinese Elm as bought from garden center.

Click on an image to follow its progress.

Elm, after i was let loose with some insane idea
i could restyle it.

Copper Beech as received 2 years ago.
I have just started an air layering
on the Copper Beech,
you can follow my progress by clicking on the link
on the right

Copper Beech in winter, I think a branch graft lower down the trunk would help. Tree un reduction.

Yew tree,
another donation from mums water logged garden
arriving in the spring of 2009.

After reading that these tree's don't enjoy being over watered
it finaly started to sprout new growth last summer.
I have since given this one a heavy chop.
update on its way.

My 6 ft Coral bark maple(Sango Kaku).

Acer palmatum "Dissectum Atropurpureum.

My 3 year old Trident maple.

My Butterfly maple (right) alongside a Japanes Maple.

A Bloodgood as donated by? you guessed it,
Mum, if only i can get my air layering sorted out
i could start some maple bonsai.
I have now started air layering
on this tree,
as seen by the link above

This is one of the Larch i mentioned.

A Hawthornn i was given after helping a neighbour
with her garden.

Another donation for the Simon collects tree's foundation.

My first home grown Acer, how chuffed was i.
IT DIED. :-( shortly after this photo

In this picture we have a chinese juniper, scots pine seedlings
a crab apple and some cuttings taken from my Chinese |Elm
among others.

A Chinese Juniper in need of saving.

Some of the old branches i removed from the other one
now rooted and ready for tranplant and training.

Osakazuki.

A variegated fig i am useing to practice my wireing skills.

A variegated fig that came in a clump
from a supermarket.

Another that came from the same place in a clump.

Reverse side of the one above, i think the lower branch
on the left has to go?

Silver Birch.

I was amazed to see how quickly the
bark had changed, i only hope it survives
as it was pulled from the ground
before i could prep it for extraction.
